How to combine PNG images into one PDF

PNG to PDF collects PNG images — screenshots, charts, diagrams, logos, pages scanned to PNG — into one PDF, with one image per page in the order you see on screen. It works in your browser: the images are read on your device and are not uploaded.

1. Add your images

Tap Add PNG images and choose one or more files. You can add more whenever you like; each new batch goes to the end of the list. On a computer you can also drop files onto the page.

Every standard kind of PNG opens: colour and greyscale, with or without transparency, palette images, 16-bit images and interlaced ones. An animated PNG goes in as one still picture; screenshots, charts and limits explains which one.

2. What the file check tells you

PNG to PDF doesn’t go by a file’s name. It reads the first bytes of each file to see what the file really is, and that has three results:

One bad file doesn’t hold up the rest; your other PNGs keep working. When you save, cards that couldn’t be opened can be cleared with Remove them, or skipped with Continue with N pages. They never become blank pages.

If most of your files are JPG photos, JPG to PDF is made for them. For a mix of formats, Image to PDF takes JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC.

3. Put the pages in order

The number on each card is its page number in the PDF.

Screenshot names often include the date and time they were taken. When all your files follow the same naming pattern, Sort by name usually lines them up in the order you took them. Screenshots from two devices or two apps follow different patterns, so look over the order before you save.

4. Turn the ones that are sideways

PNG to PDF applies no camera direction to a PNG: the card shows the image the way it is stored. If a scan or a screenshot from a turned screen lies on its side, tap Rotate 90° clockwise on its card, once for each quarter turn. The turn is applied when the image is placed on its page; the pixels are not redrawn, so turning a page costs nothing in quality.

5. Save the PDF

Look at Page setup in the toolbar first: A4, Letter, or a page shaped like each image. Page size for PNG images covers the choices, including long screenshots.

Then tap Save PDF. The PDF is built and handed to your browser as a download in one step, and Cancel stops the job without making a file. When it’s done, the strip at the bottom shows that the PDF is ready, with the number of pages and the real file size. If your browser doesn’t start the download by itself, use Download PDF. Download again delivers the same file again without rebuilding it. Share appears only where your browser can share files, and closing the share sheet without picking anything is not an error. The file is named after the day, for example images-2026-10-03.pdf.

Changed your mind?

Undo steps back through your changes and Redo brings them back. Remove takes an image out of the list; the file on your device stays where it is.

If the PDF came out larger than you expected, PNG quality and PDF size explains why, and what Smaller file can and can’t do.
